We CARE Day

One of our biggest events every year at The Sprinkler Guys is We CARE Day™, which occurs on the first Friday of each November. On this day, our entire national workforce mobilizes as an army of volunteers to help out at local charities, such as the Ronald McDonald House Charities (an organization that provides a home-away-from-home for families of critically ill children who are receiving treatment at a hospital). Our teams wash windows, plant flower bulbs, install mulch, clean-up landscapes, cook and serve meals, and whatever else is needed to help out.

Originally, this day was named Monika Day in memory of a loved one who passed away. In a very moving and much appreciated spirit of CARE, friends and colleagues from all across North America joined us in celebration of her life. Today the event has grown into We CARE Day because, as we expand internationally, we thought that it was important that this amazing day be shared with everyone.

We CARE Day is a day for volunteering for any cause that is meaningful to you. This day is one of the highlights of the year for our team members and each year we receive inspiration from the selfless spirit of giving put forth by all of the volunteers.

At The Sprinkler Guys, caring isn’t limited to one day. It happens all the time. For example, our teams have been inspired to volunteer their time cleaning up street litter, doing gardening work at local charities or participating in local food and toy drives. We have found that giving our time and resources has had as much of a positive affect on ourselves as we have had on those we are trying to help.

We’d like to invite you to join us in a day of bulb planting, gardening, donating House Wish List items and doing whatever we can to help out with this great charity or any other worthy charity of your choosing.

Send an email to volunteer@weCAREday.ca to find out how you can join us in making this a truly special day of giving and CARE!
